Blocked Stormwater for Greystanes Homes

This is the rainwater side of drainage, entirely separate pipework from what carries waste out of the house.

Clearing surcharging pits. Leaf litter and silt scooped and jetted out until water moves through freely again.

Downpipe and roof-drain runs. Blocked sections between the gutter and the underground pipe, cleared with the jetter.

Once the street system is running at capacity, water has nowhere to go but back up through the nearest pit on your property. That's when a stormwater pit that was coping fine suddenly overflows.

The fix isn't always about your own pipe being blocked. Sometimes it's clearing debris that's built up because the whole system was pushed past what it could carry.

1. We agree the price on site before starting any clearing work.
2. We check the pit, grate or line with a camera where the blockage isn't obvious.
3. We jet the line clear, working from the house end back toward the street connection.
4. We test with a hose to confirm water's actually moving again before we leave.

A single-pit clear is typically wrapped up inside an hour of arriving. A job covering several pits, or one that turns up a damaged section, takes longer, which we'll flag before we start.

If the camera turns up a cracked or crushed pit rather than simple debris, that's a repair job, not a clear, and we'll quote it separately before touching anything.

A jetter used carelessly on an old or damaged pipe can do more harm than good. Ours is sized and handled for the job in front of us, not a one-size-fits-all blast.
